What is included in the hosted pilot?
A free 60-day evaluation from your first production data, with no credit card required. It includes up to 2M events and 10K recordings per month, 30-day replay retention, unlimited projects in one workspace within guardrails, and guided review of one primary production project.
What happens after day 60?
Choose a paid hosted plan or pause hosted ingestion. The first paid invoice starts from day 61, with no retroactive charge. If no payment is received, hosted pilot data may be deleted after more than 10 days without payment. Self-hosting is a separate deployment you arrange and manage.
How are plans invoiced?
Starter and Growth are monthly prices invoiced quarterly by default: $447 and $1,047 per quarter. Monthly invoices for early customers and annual upfront pricing are available by request. Self-Hosted Pro is $199/month; contact us to arrange the subscription and deployment.
What if hosted usage exceeds our plan?
Hosted limits are soft. We do not automatically bill for short spikes. If usage exceeds your plan for two consecutive months, we contact you before changing anything. Contact us for larger hosted requirements.
How are hosted events and recordings counted?
Events are captured product interactions; recordings are replay context for individual sessions and are counted separately. Usage is totaled across all projects in one workspace. Project creation and seats are unlimited. Capture scope, sampling, or throttling can reduce noisy traffic.
How does Core differ from Self-Hosted Pro?
Open Source Core is free to self-host and customize, with essential Pages, Companies, Users, session analytics, and recordings. Self-Hosted Pro is the full commercial version, including email reports, full AI Insights, Privacy Controls, and access to commercial software updates. Both are self-managed.
What does “no usage limits” mean for Pro?
The Pro offer has no Hymetry-imposed quotas on events, session recordings, or data retention. Your hardware, storage, workload, and deployment configuration determine actual capacity. Contact us to arrange the Pro deployment and its retention configuration.
Who installs and maintains Self-Hosted Pro?
Your team manages installation, infrastructure, storage, backups, and applying updates. The subscription includes access to commercial software updates. Optional installation assistance is arranged separately; managed operations, SLAs, enterprise support, and security audits are not included.
Does self-hosting keep all data local?
You choose where analytics and recordings are stored. Enabled external AI integrations can send data to your chosen AI provider, and email reports use your configured email provider. Review those integrations and their data flows before enabling them.
Are infrastructure and provider costs included in Pro?
No. The $199/month subscription covers the commercial software and access to updates. You pay for your servers or private cloud, storage, backups, and any external AI or email providers you use.
Do hosted plans include the same commercial features?
Yes. Starter and Growth include Pages, Companies, Users, Visits and replay, AI Insights, Privacy Controls, and email reports. They differ in usage allowances, analytics retention, and setup and review scope. Hymetry manages the infrastructure for both.
